Air Duct Cleaning

A full source-removal cleaning of your supply, return, and trunk lines — not a quick vacuum-at-the-vent job. NADCA-style methodology, HEPA-captured debris, and optional EPA-registered sanitizer for a breath-of-fresh-air finish.

Equipment

What we bring to the job

Professional-grade tools matter — they decide whether your space gets surface-cleaned or actually restored. Here's the gear we use on every air duct cleaning job.

Rotocav Rotary Agitation System
The best rotary source-removal tool on the market — high-torque, variable-speed agitation paired with simultaneous vacuum capture. Reaches debris other systems leave behind.
BrushBeast Dr Red Edition Package
Top-tier pneumatic rotary brush kit — reverse-rotation, multiple shaft lengths, and heavy-duty cable set. The Dr Red Edition is built for the bonded buildup that standard whips can't break loose.
Rotobrush aiR+ XT
Industry-standard rotary whip system that agitates and vacuums simultaneously — pulls decades of buildup out of residential supply lines.
Negative Air HEPA Vacuum
Truck-mount-class negative-air machine with HEPA filtration captures 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 microns — nothing recirculates into your home.
Push-Pull Air Whips & Skipper Balls
Agitation tools sized for each trunk diameter break loose dust, pet hair, and debris bonded to duct walls.
Borescope Inspection Camera
Before/after video walkthrough of your ductwork — you see exactly what came out and what the inside of your system looks like now.
Coil & Blower Brushes
Specialty brushes for evaporator coil fins and blower wheel — the two dirtiest parts of any HVAC system.
EPA-Registered Sanitizer (optional)
Botanical, low-VOC antimicrobial fog treats the full system after cleaning — kid- and pet-safe when requested.
Process

How we do it

Same six-step process every time, so you know exactly what to expect.

  1. 1
    Full system inspection
We open access panels, photograph your coil, blower, and a sample supply line — so the before/after is documented.
  2. 2
    Negative pressure setup
HEPA vacuum creates negative airflow in the system so every particle loosened goes into the collection bag, not your living room.
  3. 3
    Agitate every line
Rotobrush or air whip moves through supplies and returns one by one. We work every branch, not just the ones easy to reach.
  4. 4
    Coil + blower wheel
Evaporator coil brushed and rinsed, blower wheel pulled or cleaned in place — this is where airflow and efficiency live or die.
  5. 5
    Optional sanitizer fog
EPA-registered antimicrobial fogged through the system for an allergen- and odor-free finish.
  6. 6
    Walkthrough + video
We show you what came out, before/after borescope footage, and a clean system ready to run.

FAQ

Questions we get

How often should air ducts be cleaned?

Every 3–5 years for most homes. More often if you have pets, renovations, smokers, asthma/allergies in the family, or just bought a home where history is unknown.

Do you charge per vent or flat rate?

Flat rate per system, quoted after inspection. We do not bait-and-switch — the number we give you at inspection is the number you pay.

How long does it take?

2–4 hours for a single-system home. Multi-zone homes take longer. We schedule one job per crew per morning so we are never rushing yours.

Do you disturb the house?

Shoe covers, drop cloths on the flooring under each register, and a vacuum powerful enough that dust stays inside the system. We leave it cleaner than we found it.
