What we bring to the job
Professional-grade tools matter — they decide whether your space gets surface-cleaned or actually restored. Here's the gear we use on every dryer & vent cleaning job.
How we do it
Same six-step process every time, so you know exactly what to expect.
- 1Disconnect + inspectPull the dryer, disconnect the transition hose, and inspect the internal lint trap housing — where the biggest fire hazard lives.
- 2Rotary brush the full runLintEater rods run from dryer outlet all the way to exterior termination. Bends, elbows, and long runs all brushed.
- 3Clean exterior cap + damperExterior louver removed, damper flap inspected, bird/pest nests cleared. The cap is replaced or adjusted if damaged.
- 4Internal lint trap housingMost cleaners skip this. We vacuum out the internal cavity behind the lint screen where fine lint bypasses the filter and accumulates on heating elements.
- 5Airflow verificationManometer reading taken at the dryer end. Proves the vent is actually flowing at spec — not just cleaner-looking.
- 6Reconnect + test runDryer pushed back into place, transition hose reattached with new clamps if needed, and we run the dryer empty for a cycle to confirm everything is tight.

Questions we get
How often should dryer vents be cleaned?
Once a year for normal households. Every 6 months if you have pets, a long vent run, or an upstairs/condo dryer stack. If clothes take longer than one cycle to dry — clean it now.
How do I know if mine needs it?
Clothes take two cycles to dry, dryer feels hot to the touch, laundry room is humid during runs, or the vent cap flaps look clogged. Any of those = schedule.
Can you reach a roof vent?
Yes. Most residential roof runs are within reach with extendable rods. Very high or commercial roofs may need a separate rooftop visit with ladder/scaffolding scoped up front.
Will it really reduce my dry times?
A fully clogged vent can push a 50-minute dry cycle past 2 hours. Post-clean we usually see 30–45% reduction in dry times — and your heating element stops working overtime.
